Description Nissan X-trail

Nissan X-Trail — updated third-generation X-Trail crossover. Model presentation took place in June 2017.

It differs from the pre-reform car by a radiator grill with a wider V-shaped decorative element, as well as a new bumper, which is now painted in body color and decorated with black inserts. The configuration of the headlight blocks has been changed, including a new version of the boomerang-shaped LED elements, and the front foglights are now “square” rather than round.

At the rear, there is a new bumper with chrome details, full LED lights, and an external shark fin antenna. Buyers can choose from new 17- and 18-inch wheels, in addition, in the top version, the X-Trail received chrome side moldings that stretch along the bottom of the doors. New shades of Orange Pearl, Red Pearl, Blue Pearl Metallic and Dark Brown Pearl have been added to the body color palette. In addition, the optional full LED headlights are equipped with the Adaptive Lighting System (AFS) for the first time.

The main change to the interior of the X-Trail is a truncated steering wheel like on the new one Nissan Micra  and updated Nissan Qashqai. As Nissan explained, this shape improves the visibility of the dashboard, and also makes it easier for the driver to get in and out. The spokes are fitted with new shifters with four degrees of freedom. For the first time, a steering wheel heating has been added to the list of options for the European version of the X-Trail - it is available for the top Tekna equipment.

Also, they began to install a hands-free system for the rear liftgate with an electric drive, which is triggered by a “kick” under the bumper with a foot. An upgraded NissanConnect media system with navigation, a Bose audio system, blind spot monitoring, a rear cross traffic warning system and a surround view system are offered as an additional option or as a “package” offer for top trim levels.

As before, the crossover is available with an intelligent All-Mode 4x4i all-wheel drive system, which comes to the aid of the help system when starting to move uphill and traffic control when descending a mountain. The line of powertrains and transmissions Nissan X-Trail in Ukraine is as follows:

• gasoline engine MR20 with a volume of 2.0 liters (144 hp, 200 Nm). It is combined with a 6-speed "mechanics" and a variator. Front or all wheel drive. 
• gasoline engine QR25 with a volume of 2.5 liters (171 hp, 233 Nm). Works in tandem with the variator. Four-wheel drive.
• 1.6 l R9M diesel engine (130 hp, 320 Nm). "Mechanics" or CVT. Front or all wheel drive.

In Ukraine, the updated third-generation Nissan X-Trail has been on sale since November 2017.
