Nissan Juke second generation was presented in September 2019. Presentations of new items were held simultaneously in London, Paris, Milan, Barcelona and Cologne.

The new "Dzhuk" retained the proportions and shape of its predecessor, but became more aggressive in detail, and also grew in size. The length of the car has increased from 4135 to 4210 mm, the width - from 1765 to 1800 mm, and the height - from 1565 to 1595 mm. At the same time, the body turned out to be 23 kg lighter due to the expanded use of high-strength steels in the structure. By the way, the second generation of the model was based on the CMF-B modular platform, on which the "second" Renault Captur.

The front of the Nissan Juke has McPherson struts, and the rear suspension is semi-independent.

In addition, the second generation Nissan Juke has become more spacious. The developers have increased the distance between the rows by 58 mm, and the headroom has increased by 11 mm. The trunk has also become more spacious: 422 liters versus 354 liters for the previous version of the model.

In the interior design, better materials were used, the design and seat fillers were changed. Customization options are enhanced with additional trim color combinations and optional leather and suede upholstery. However, in part, the interior has lost its share of unusualness: instead of a plump central tunnel, there is now a more concise console with an electronic parking brake button, which is included in the standard equipment, and in front of the driver, instead of separate “wells” of the speedometer and tachometer, the instrument cluster is already familiar to other Nissans.

The front Full LED optics is included in the basic equipment of the Dzhuk.

The list of additional options includes Bose acoustics with additional speakers in the headrest of the driver's seat, the NissanConnect media system with an eight-inch touchscreen and Wi-Fi access point, indicators of objects in the "dead zones", informing about cars moving from the side when reversing. In addition, the ProPilot complex is available for the crossover, which consists of adaptive cruise control with automatic braking and lane keeping.

Gasoline versions of the Nissan Juke with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine, which replaced the previous 1.2 turbo four, were the first to be put on the conveyor. This power unit develops 117 hp. and on the Juke it is combined with a 6-speed "mechanics" or a 7-speed "robot" with dual clutch. In the latter case, the driver has access to the Eco, Sport and Standard box modes, as well as the ability to shift gears with paddles on the steering wheel.

The Nissan Juke is produced in the UK at the Nissan plant in Sunderland. Serial production of the second generation of the model started in October 2019.
