New Nissan Almera - front-wheel drive five-seat sedan, which replaced the outdated model called Almera Classic. Externally, the car was unified with the rest of the brand's models, and the greatest similarity, which is not surprising, was achieved with another sedan - Nissan Teana.
It is difficult to attribute the car to any class, because in terms of its dimensions the model is very close to the D-class. For comparison, the length of the Nissan Almera is 4,656 mm versus 4,710 mm for Toyota Avensis. If we compare the new Almera with its predecessor, which bore the name Classic, then the wheelbase of the sedan has grown by 165 mm, the overall length has increased by 146 mm, and the height has increased by 72 mm. At the same time, the new Almera has become a little narrower - 1710 against 1695 mm. Trunk volume has increased by 40 liters and now stands at 500 liters.
The suspension of the car is specially adapted for our roads, and the clearance of the Nissan Almera is 160 mm. The engine runs on 92-octane gasoline. The model also comes standard with a 2mm steel engine compartment guard.
There is only one engine - a 1.6-liter atmospheric “four”, developing 102 hp. and 145 Nm of torque. But as a transmission, you can choose both “mechanics” for five gears and a four-band automatic. Learn more about the driving characteristics of the Nissan Almera in our test drive.
Serial production of the model has been established at the plant in Togliatti. In connection with the entry duties It was decided not to bring this model to the market until at least autumn 2013.
